BI Consolidation on SharePoint Platform
To function effectively, both small and large businesses need, apart from easy access to the collected data, tools which will help to organize the data properly. Adequately prepared data is the basis for the analysis of business processes, which, in turn, is of crucial importance to the decisions taken within the company. What data is collected and in what form it is presented (be it dynamic, static or graphic), depends on the type of the company. Microsoft has on offer a number of data analysis tools, including Excel spreadsheet, where apart from sheet data, also data from OLAP cubes or Power Pivot models data can act as data source. Another solution is PerformancePoint Services. This is a tool which helps to create extended reports and analyses with intelligent filters, dashboards including e.g. Scorecards and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Using SQL Server Reporting Services you have at your disposal a report server, tools for creating and modifying the reports – including Report Builder, extended with Report Parts and Report Alerts, as well as Power View - a modern data visualization solution within Business Intelligence Semantic Model (BISM). All these tools complement each other neatly, and their consolidation in one central place which is SharePoint platform, significantly facilitates data collecting and analyzing, in turn also facilitating the process of making business decisions. The goal of the training is to enable both BI analysts and programmers to use BI solutions efficiently. Our assumption is that upon the completion of the course its participants will gain all the skills necessary for the right choice of BI tools for data presentation and analysis, as well as be more skilled in the use of SharePoint platform.

The training is addressed to BI solutions programmers, persons responsible for creating reports, and analysts directly dealing with business data.
The basic training is comprised of 11 modules. Just like all the other courses on our offer, it has been designed by our experts, therefore we can freely customize it to suit the individual needs of the participants. However, each day of the training is finished with a laboratory class of approximately 1hr, so that you can do self-practice and do exercises of your choice.
